This article contains plot details about an upcoming episode.

Mimi's mother was banished from the heavens forcing her to live life as a mortal. Realizing her mistakes, she decided to turn a new leaf, marrying the priest of the most holy port in Nadir; their child can be seen as the perfect balance between the two extremes they convey as both esper and priest. Mimi was first discovered as a prodigy when touching water and converting it holy. Anaru and Tane are encountered with Mimi for the first time at Pinnacle Rock near the Water Shrine. Mimi asks them for help finding her pendant; it's not only precious to her but also serves as the key to enter the shrine.

After defeating the Kappa, which had stumbled across her pendant, gunfires and explosions are heard in the distance. To everyone’s surprise mercenary Baba and his troops are ambushing Port Monoco leaving Mimi, Anaru and Tane no other option but to protect the civilians. In the midst of battle, Baba manages to steal the pendant from Mimi and sail away hastily to Pinnacle Rock and into the Water Shrine. After a decisive battle, Anaru and company manage to bring Genbu back to consciousness; Baba is defeated leaving the pendant behind. Mimi is eternally grateful to Anaru and Tane, considering them to be a blessing from the heavens; she decides to join them on their quest to end the catastrophe bestowed upon Nadir.
